Honu, the green sea turtle, symbolizes the ancient connection between the earth and the sea. It is believed that the turtles acted as "guides" for the first Hawaiians. This image shows the turtles protecting their"nest egg". The patterns on their backs are maps and compasses.

Knowledge

"Knowledge"
This is an image from our upcoming 2011 calendar. It is a portrait of the "Salmon of Knowledge" from Celtic mythology. Legend tells of a great salmon who lived in a pond surrounded by hazelnut trees. The hazel is the source of all knowledge and wisdom, and the salmon acquired this gift after eating the nuts that fell in the water.
If you look closely at the water, you will see that the waves are actually books.

This is the painting I did for the Financial Guides Home page. It portrays the Guides navigating the jungle together to find the great treasure. They carry with them all the tools they need to make the journey beautiful, exciting and successful.
